Drawing is a mean to focus on something in particular : an object, a person, a building, a city, a way of living. What´s part of our immediate daily life environment, might be completely strange on the other side of the world. Drawing can be a way to communicate those different identities. Each participant will select a street from their city. They will make a series of drawings of objects, people and buildings from that street.

Toad in the hole
This is a pub game, involving throwing brass coins at a lead topped table with a hole in the middle. A variation of this game has been played in pubs in East Sussex, UK, the 'hole' being in the centre of the lead which is on top of a wooden table. Toad in the hole is a more refined version of the coin-throwing game Pitch penny.

Churros
Churros are a special South and Central American treat, adopted from Spain. They are tube-shaped unyeasted doughnuts, piped from a pastry bag with a star tip, fried in oil, and rolled in cinnamon sugar. In South America they are typically filled with something rich like dulce de leche, nutella (hazelnut butter and chocolate), or vanilla pastry cream. If you have ever made cream puffs, you will find churros dough very similar. Churros are quick to make and quite the crowd pleaser. If you make them yourself, you will enjoy them at their best - freshly cooked, warm, and crispy on the outside.
m. bench
spotted at DMY berlin 2011, the 'm. bench' is an ottoman created by grupo bondi, an argentinian design practice started by
ivan lopez prystajko and eugenio gomez llambi. made out of cement, this seat uses a patented technology to produce
what appears to be a plush ottoman.
moved by the contradictions in their city of buenos aires, grupo bondi recovers the poetics of inanimate objects by subverting expectations.
imagining a narrative for the 'm. bench,' for instance, the designers explain:
'born out of its aristocratic life, it turned into stone in order to endure the unmerciful weather, live outside, sleep under the stars and be connected to life.'
